Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the FolioReach platform (“Service”), operated by FolioReach Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is truthful and accurate.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

3. Payment Terms

For Authors: Authors set a per-review bid amount and a review goal. When a reader selects your book, a temporary hold is placed on your account balance for the bid amount. If the reader completes a verified review, the hold converts to a charge. If the reader does not complete a review within the specified timeframe, the hold is released and your funds are returned.

Account Balance: Authors must maintain a sufficient account balance to fund active campaigns. Funds can be added via credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment methods. Unused account balances are refundable upon request, subject to any pending holds.

For Readers: Readers earn compensation for completing verified book reads. Payment is issued after review verification or book report approval, according to the payout schedule described in your reader account. FolioReach reserves the right to withhold payment if fraud or policy violations are detected.

All prices are in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified. Applicable taxes are your responsibility as required by law.

4. Review Process

FolioReach connects authors with readers for the purpose of generating authentic book reviews. Readers are compensated for reading books. Reviews are always optional and are never required as a condition of payment.

FolioReach does not influence, edit, or screen the content of reader reviews. All reviews reflect the independent opinion of the reader. Authors may not contact readers to request changes to review content, star ratings, or timing.

Reviews submitted through the platform must comply with Amazon's Community Guidelines. FolioReach reserves the right to flag or remove reviews that appear fraudulent, manipulated, or otherwise in violation of Amazon's policies.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate fake, misleading, or fraudulent reviews
• Offer additional compensation to readers in exchange for specific review content or star ratings
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent platform limits or policies
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the source code of the platform
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others
• Use the Service in any manner that violates Amazon's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service
• Harass, intimidate, or threaten any reader, author, or FolioReach staff member

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination, forfeiture of account balances, and referral to appropriate authorities.

6. Intellectual Property

Authors retain all ownership rights to the books and content they upload to the platform. By uploading content, you grant FolioReach a limited, non-exclusive license to distribute your book to matched readers for the sole purpose of facilitating the review process.

The FolioReach name, logo, and all related marks, designs, and slogans are trademarks of FolioReach Inc. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

Readers retain ownership of their reviews. By submitting a review through the platform, readers grant FolioReach a non-exclusive license to display the review for platform purposes, including marketing and quality assurance.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FolioReach Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

FolioReach does not guarantee any specific number of reviews, star ratings, or outcomes from campaigns. Our role is to connect authors with qualified readers; the content and timing of reviews are determined solely by individual readers.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid to FolioReach in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@folioreach.com. Upon termination, any pending campaign holds will be released and remaining account balances refunded, less any completed charges.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that could harm the platform, other users, or our reputation. In the event of termination for cause, we reserve the right to withhold any remaining account balance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Wilmington, Delaware. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or participation in a class action.
